Mental Health First Aid training – half day
Approximately one in four people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year.
This Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training course will provide you with an understanding of common mental health problems and how to support somebody in distress. You will receive a certificate and handbook on completing the course.

What you will learn
In your personal and professional life, you will encounter people experiencing mental health problems. In fact, one in six people in England report experiencing a common mental health problem, such as anxiety or depression, in any given week.
This course will provide you with an understanding of common mental health problems, enabling you to support others and look after your own mental health.
This course can host a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 16.

It may be of particular interest to organisations or staff with a desire to increase mental health awareness and support in professional settings.
By the end of the course you’ll be able to
