Emily Gray
Deputy CEO/ Director of Operations
I have worked in mental health for many years, including in service development and senior management roles for Peterborough and Fenland Mind and now, the merged CPSL Mind. I am proud to be a Director as we chart our strategic direction.
Like many, I have my own experiences of poor mental health and I am passionate about building resilience, both in individuals and communities, enabling us all to be better prepared to handle the challenges life throws at us, while being able to access support when we need it. I am constantly inspired by our projects, staff, individuals accessing our services and our volunteers and partners – ten years in, I still learn something new every day.
Hannah Turner
Head of Services, Safeguarding & Quality Assurance
My work within CPSL Mind gives me good insight into the direct work carried out each day. As Head of Services, I ensure the services we deliver are purposeful and relevant, involving Co-production in every development such as in our Good Life service. Collaboration is essential as with our Sanctuary services working closely with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT), Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and other partners to ensure a seamless service for those in crisis.
I believe it is crucial to keep mental health high on people’s agendas, both locally and nationally, with individuals and with our strategic partners, other experts and professionals. It keeps me on my toes!
Jo Clarke
Head of Training, Consultancy and Business Management
I have 25 years’ experience of working in leadership roles for retail organisations including Starbucks Coffee Company and John Lewis where I have led large teams to deliver operational excellence.
My interest in mental health and supporting others led me to re-train as a counsellor specialising in working with young people and adults from a range of backgrounds. I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings including schools, universities, local charities and now in private practice, aiming to help people who need some support in life.
I joined CPSL Mind in 2018 as a volunteer and have worked predominantly in project management and service development roles for the organisation. Now, as Head of Training, Consultancy and Business Development, I am proud to be leading our team of internal and associate trainers to deliver market-leading mental health training to workplaces and our local community.
I believe passionately that if we improve awareness of mental health, increase skills and confidence of people to support others and embed good practice around positive wellbeing that we can support individuals, workplaces and communities to live well.
Chloe Humphrey
Deputy Head of Services (Community Projects)
I have been privileged to be part of the CPSL Mind team in various voluntary, frontline and management roles since 2008.
For me, mental health and wellbeing is where my passions lie- from having my own lived experience and supporting those close to me.
In my role as Deputy Head of Services at CPSL Mind, I hope to use my knowledge and experience from frontline delivery, management and engagement to ensure that our services continue to thrive and offer something quite unique to the communities in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire with collaboration being key!
Being part of a values based organisation is very important to me and part of my role working directly with service managers will be to ensure that these values thread through everything we deliver.
Lisa Gibson
Deputy Head of Services (South Lincolnshire and New Projects)
I was once asked why I do what I do, I was surprised that I didn’t have a ready answer. Having given it some thought I would say that what motivates me now and has done for many years is the belief that every person is intrinsically of infinite value. Once we recognise this it’s impossible to look the other way or fail to be moved to action by the challenges faced by others.
I am an experienced project manager and have a proven record of taking projects from concept to operation, I believe strongly in the power of team and like to lead from the centre by valuing the contribution everyone brings.
I have managed a volunteering department with over a thousand volunteers, developed social prescribing in South and East Lincolnshire and volunteered in the slums of New Delhi. None of this would have been possible without the people around me.
Claire Baker
Head of Finance & Resources
I feel honoured to be working for a charity that is raising awareness of mental health and supporting people to live well. Having experienced my own challenges, I am passionate about ensuring that mental health and people’s wellbeing is high on the agenda.
I have worked in the charity sector for many years as a finance professional and was privileged to join CPSL Mind in January 2023 as Head of Finance.
I enjoy being part of a committed and dedicated team that thrives off seeing the difference CPSL Mind makes to our community and the people they support.
