Cam FM Presents: Speak Your Mind, 24 hour long radio broadcast to raise money for local charity CPSL Mind.

From 12 noon on Saturday 9^th February to 12 noon on Sunday 10^th February, local student radio station Cam FM completed an entire 24 hour live nonstop radio broadcast. The Speak Your Mind fundraiser brought students and staff from Anglia Ruskin University and the University of Cambridge together to create a series of programmes to raise awareness of mental health and promote positive mental wellbeing. The Cam FM team encouraged their listeners throughout the broadcast to make donations to CPSL Mind, raising a very impressive £2,050.

Cam FM’s Station Manager, Caroline Camm said: “Cam FM’s Speak Your Mind charity broadcast was immensely rewarding for all the presenters involved. Over the course of the 24 hours students, staff and alumni of both Cambridge University and Anglia Ruskin University came together to raise money for an amazing charity and we couldn’t be more proud to have raised such a large sum. The services that CPSL Mind provides are so important and we are delighted to be able to support them and help save lives.”
