Supporting others with their mental health can be challenging even if you’ve received Mental Health First Aid (MHFA®) training previously.

This workshop provides support to trained Mental Health First Aiders, offering a space to share best practice and explore issues and trends.

What you will learn

Having previously become a certified Mental Health First Aider, this course will help you refresh your skills and knowledge alongside peers who are also trained to support others.

Through sharing experiences with peers, you will gain insights into common challenges or situations. Importantly, the workshop will help you reflect on your experiences enabling you to support your own mental health and be supported by peers.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA®) develops over time and it is important that first aiders update their training every three years to perform their role safely and effectively.

This course will update your knowledge of mental health support and refresh your skills to ensure you’re equipped for the role. Additionally, you’ll gain unlimited access to support, learning, online events, digital tools through the MHFAider® Support App® for 3 years.
