We have been nominated for four national awards in recognition of our work in areas of innovation, sustainability, leadership and service user influence.

The nominations for national Mind’s Network Excellence Awards follow an in depth review resulting in the recent achievement of the Mind Quality Mark. Local independent charities affiliated to the national body are assessed every three years to exacting standards, as a service, an organisation and as a charity.

National awards are open to all 125 local mind charities and are designed to celebrate excellence across the network which provides support to around one million people and health information to a further 16million across England and Wales each year.

Comments from the nominations reflect the Quality Mark review and include:

In the Mind Quality Mark review, we are described as a confident, collaborative organisation that clearly lives its values; there is an emphasis on empowerment and recognising the value of lived experience of mental health shaping every aspect of work.

“We are pleased and proud that CPSL Mind has been recognised in this way and, in particular, the acknowledgement these nominations give to our innovative approaches, our emphasis on co-production and the commitment to values-based practice that runs through our whole staff and volunteer team,” says CEO, Aly Anderson. “That said, we know we can always improve and that our culture of learning is key to our future development – especially in these unprecedented times post Covid-19.”
