How we support you
We’ll get to know you to understand your skills, talents and passions and what you’re looking to achieve while supporting us. It’s important we help you to meet your goals and agree a commitment that works for everyone. You’ll have the chance to get to know us too, first meeting our Volunteer Manager and other members of your immediate team before having opportunities to get involved across the charity. We’ll make sure you receive appropriate training, have regular opportunities to connect with others and scheduled time with your line manager to be sure you’re enjoying your role making a difference in whichever role you choose.

Volunteer Perinatal Support
Our Perinatal service is looking for a female volunteer to support their Mindful Mums groups.
The groups are offered in Peterborough, South Fenland, Cambridge and are open to women who live in these areas who have a child under the age of 2 years.
The groups focus on Mums sharing wellbeing skills and keeping connected with each other for friendship and support.
STOP Suicide Campaign Maker
We’re looking for proactive, passionate individuals interested in joining a growing social movement of Campaign Makers to spread the vital STOP Suicide campaign message.
We want to empower you and give you the tools, skills and resources to make the impact you want to make in suicide prevention.
Examples of ways you could get involved include community events, digital campaigning, resource distribution, media or sharing your personal experiences. If you have an innovative idea to raise awareness we’d love to hear it.

Cafe Hosts
Are you passionate about mental health or would like to use your lived experience or knowledge to support others? Our Long Sutton Night Light Café are looking for volunteer Cafe Hosts, Night Light Cafes provide a local, safe space for anyone experiencing mental health crisis, during the evening.
Dads Matter Co-facilitator
We are seeking a volunteer to support and share lived experience of becoming a Dad.
Good Mood Cafe Co-Facilitator
A Co-facilitator will support CPSL Mind staff to deliver Good Mood cafes within the local community. The volunteer co-facilitator will help initiate conversation and keep them on topic, they will also help to engage those attending. Help build confidence of those attending and signpost attendees to other services if required.
Facilities Assistant
The Volunteer Facilities Assistant will support the Governance Administrator and IT & Facilities Officer to ensure the smooth running of the organisation and to support the delivery of high-quality services.
Volunteer Peer Mentor
This post presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking mental health charity, and to grow and develop in line with organisational strengths. The ideal candidate will have an element of lived experience, either personally or professionally.
