The menopause can be life-changing physically, but over 40% of people experiencing it aren’t aware of the mental health impact of this life stage. Nearly 70% of people going through the menopause experience anxiety, depression, and other psychological symptoms. This training has been developed in response to increase awareness about the significant impact the menopause can have on a person’s wellbeing.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA®) develops over time and it is important that first aiders update their training every three years to perform their role safely and effectively.

This course will update your knowledge of mental health support and refresh your skills to ensure you’re equipped for the role. Additionally, you’ll gain unlimited access to support, learning, online events, digital tools through the MHFAider® Support App® for 3 years.

Suicidal thoughts are more common than you might think – one in five people in the UK will experience suicidal thoughts in their lifetime.

This workshop will equip you with the knowledge to spot warning signs, ask directly about suicide, support someone to stay safe and look after your own wellbeing.

This Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training course will provide you with an understanding of common mental health problems and how to support somebody in distress. You will receive a certificate and handbook on completing the course.
